5 Steps to Maximise Visits to Your #backingbritain Stand

schedule19th May 22

The Backing Britain online exhibition is a unique platform that showcases manufacturing businesses all year round. A virtual booth includes interactive content for visitors to download, videos, and the chance to directly message staff. What makes the exhibition really unique are the 3D facility tours of manufacturing plants up and down the country, part of each Backing Britain stand.

To ensure your stand is receiving the attention it deserves, there are a few things you can do to make sure you are reaching out to as many relevant people as possible. Below is a list of things you can do to maximise the exposure of your stand, and therefore get more visits.

1. Press Release Template and Publish Regularly

The resources section of the Made in Group websites are the perfect asset to help you promote your involvement in the group and your presence at the Backing Britain exhibition. Download the ‘Backing Britain 3.0 Exhibition Press Release Template’ by heading to the resources section at the backend of your microsite. Post this to your website and microsite and share it on your socials. To give it an extra push, tag people and ask them to share your post.

 2. Use the official exhibition artwork social graphic

Also downloadable via the resources section of the Made platform, save our social graphic. This graphic also allows you to insert your own company logo, editing software such as canva.com is a useful tool to do this.

Schedule this to go on your social channels and repeat it regularly, changing the content of the post. Your first post could be explaining what the Backing Britain Expo is all about, the following posts could focus on one part of your stand e.g your virtual tour.

3. Use our promo email graphic

Just think about how many people you email on a daily basis, that may not even be aware that you are part of an innovative exhibition like Backing Britain. Grab our email graphic from resources and add it to your email signature, remember to link it to www.backingbritain.com. You could give this feature an extra push by adding some text with graphics ‘such as check out our 3D facility tour via Backing Britain’.

4. Attend Made in Group Events

Made in Group events are a great way to connect with a multitude of industry leaders. From Virtual Breakfast Mornings to Masterclasses, you are able to see who attends any event and download the list of contacts that attended. Meeting people at an event and following up with a communication afterwards is a perfect way to engage people with your stand. Send out a mass email to the attendees asking them to visit your Backing Britain booth.

5. Add the Backing Britain artwork to your website

Lastly make sure to add the Backing Britain artwork to your website with a link to backingbritain.com. This could be on your ‘About us’ page with text that mentions that you are able to take a factory tour.
