Backing Britain 3.0 In Numbers

By Made In Group
schedule16th Dec 21

With less than five months to go until Made in Group's groundbreaking "hybrid" exhibition, we've put the event into numbers to give our members a better idea of exactly what it will involve.

Ultimately, Backing Britain 3.0 aims to give members the tools to sell in a post-covid world with engaging 3D content, whilst helping them reduce their carbon footprint - as the world’s governments look to them to become net-zero by 2050.

Every exhibitor will be able to showcase a piece of their equipment, or a section of their premesis, using Matterport's 3D walkaround technology (and optionally VR headsets). More than 100 of members are participating in the project which involves having their premises scanned with matterport 3D cameras. The goal is to create the UK's most extensive collection of virtual factory tours.

11,000 Opt in Mail Contacts

The Made in Group has one of the most extensive mailing lists of manufacturing companies in the UK. Our mailing list includes more than 11k opt-in contacts; users of our platform, attendees to past events or have signed up to our newsletters.

£2m Target Turnover Demographic

The target demographic for this exhibition is director level, manufacturing companies with a turnover above £2m.

3,000 Attendees

Made in Group have set the target of engaging with 3,000 people through the digital aspect of Backing Britain 3.0. Taking the digital aspect to the next level from previous ventures, the exhibition will include two halls. The first of which will be called “Backing Britain” - promoting your business to thousands of manufacturing exhibitors and your fellow members. Then, continuing Made in Group’s mission to support UK careers and skills, there will also be a “Made Futures” hall.

300 Live Event Attendees

With three top-class venues across the country (Leeds, Derby and Wolverhampton) set to host Made in the Midlands and Made in Yorkshire members, there is expected to be 300+ attendees in total at the Backing Britain 3.0 in-person fringe events, which will complement the online expo. There will be 3 celebrity speakers and 3 industry speakers in total, with one of each at every one of these in-person "fringe" events. So far, industry thought leaders and celebrity speakers Robert Llewellyn and Felicity Aston have been confirmed as keynote speakers - with the remaining 4 speakers yet to be confirmed (so watch this space!).

Backing Britain 3.0 is officially taking place from April 26th-28th 2020, however, access to members stands and their "digital twin" will be available 365 days a year following this, providing a fantastic sales and company promotion opportunity for members of Made in Group.

Gold & Silver members of Made in Group can register for the Backing Britain hybrid exhibition as an exhibitor, or others can register as an attendee, by visiting the following link: https://g2made.uk/bb3expo
