Made in Group Expos in the Midlands and Yorkshire are set to be successful with over 220 members exhibiting in the Midlands and over 80 exhibiting in Yorkshire so far.

Back and bigger than ever, The Made in Yorkshire Expo and The Made in the Midlands Expo will showcase a wide range of manufacturers, engineers and more in 2020. The MiY event, which takes place on Thursday 21st May at the Centenary Pavilion in Leeds, is set to be the company’s biggest ever as the #MIYFamily continues to grow. In the name of championing British manufacturing and showing the best things truly Made in Yorkshire.

The Made in the Midlands Expo will also prove to be a thriving event as the UK’s largest Regional Manufacturing and Engineering Exhibition, along with having the biggest collection of Midlands manufacturers under the same roof. In previous years, examples of cutting edge technology were presented such as collaborative robots and metalworking fluid.

Taking place on Wednesday 1st July 2020 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, the MiM Expo is guaranteed to be one of the largest manufacturing and networking opportunities this year. Over 2,500 industry leaders are set to attend from across the Midlands engineering and manufacturing supply chain. In addition to the manufacturers showcasing at each event, visitors will also be able to join in with the seminars that’ll take place throughout the day. These will be by industry leaders on topics such as the Skills Gap, Industry 4.0, International Trade, and Manufacturing.

The Made in Group, including Made in the Midlands and Made in Yorkshire, evolved from an editorial campaign in the pages of the Business Report - a business publication and exists to challenge the erosion of the British industry and spread positive news about the manufacturing sector.

10 years later, the Made in Group is one of the biggest manufacturing membership groups in the UK, with over 500 members in total. Members are given access to their own website platform, or microsite, and blogging platform on the MiM or MiY platform. This gives members the opportunity to share news, message other members and advertise on other members' microsites. Along with the opportunity to showcase their products and services at the Made in Group exhibitions, members are also able to access regular best practice events with fellow members to network and share best practice all year round.

Made in the Midlands Gold member Wrekin sheet Metal has been a member since 2015, and have seen great success from being part of the Expo in 2019. Wrekin Sheetmetal offers a bespoke design service to enable customers to specify their exact requirements.
