Backing Britain is powerful; people around the world respect the nation's standards in quality, reliability and employee welfare . Displaying the 'Backing Britain' marque is a great way to boost morale in your workforce, community, supply chain and customer base. It's also an easy way for you to increase your online presence and generate new content without increasing your overheads.

On 17th August 2020, Made will launch a digital exhibition “with a big difference” called Backing Britain 2020 Live - an immersive experience between the digital and physical. Having a link going from your main company site back to your Made in Microsite is a fantastic way to promote your involvement in Backing Britain, whilst simultaneously boosting traffic and supporting search engine rankings.

Download your Backing Britain logos now from the Resources section of your Made account. All paid members can use the standard Backing Britain logo, whilst the Backing Britain 2020 Live logo is for those members who are exhibiting at our Virtual Expo Hall

As well as the Backing Britain logo, paid members can also you the Made in Group (either Made in the Midlands or Made in Yorkshire) in the same way. In order to ensure our members are getting the most from the membership resources at their disposal, we’ve compiled an easy-to-follow 3 step guide to boosting traffic with the Backing Britain logos.

1. Download the Logo

If you haven’t done so already, paid members should be sure to download the Backing Britain and Backing Britain 2020 Live logo to promote your involvement in the Live Digital Business Festival. To download the Backing Britain or Backing Britain 2020 Live logo, log into your Made in Group account and go the "Backing Britain 2020 Live" folder of the resources section.

Please also download the brand guideline book to familiarise yourself with how to use the brand and logo correctly.

2. Pinpoint the Best Spot for Your Website

Once you’ve downloaded the logo, you should find a suitable spot to proudly promote your Backing Britain involvement on your company website. The best place to situate your logo is the most visible spot for users, such as the top banner, underneath your logo or wherever else stands out.

Shoutout to Direct Air for using both the Made in the Midlands and Backing Britain logos to boost traffic to their microsite and maximise their membership value:

3. Link to Your Microsite

Here’s the important part: create a hyperlink from your main website to your Made in Microsite. Having a link going both ways between your microsite and main company site will ultimately boost traffic on both sides - whilst simultaneously advocating your business as supporters of industry to any potential customers, clients or business associates.
