The Made in Group is a private digital network for manufacturers and industry influencers to share experiences and insights. The platform hosts two industry associations, Made in the Midlands and Made in Yorkshire, where members can participate in discussion groups and share their knowledge with other manufacturers.

Attendees include:

Cristian Papainog, McCarthy Environmental; Kevin Still, Wakefield Acoustics; Adam Bradley, Corrosion Resistant Materials; Barry Blyth, Colbridge Enterprises; Simon Burske, Alwayse Ball Unit Solutions; Justin Connor, SJS International; Charles Boneham, Boneham and Turner;

Recently, a discussion group focused on maintaining and building international relationships. Topics discussed included the creation of an international network through distributors and agents, best practices for paying percentages to these parties, and the importance of having product proximity to customers. The session also included a talk by Charles Boneham of Boneham and Turner, who shared his expertise on managing a distribution network in the USA.

Different perspectives were shared on the best way to approach international distribution, including offering exclusive territories versus having a larger, more open network. The Made in Group aims to bring together manufacturers passionate about the success of British industry and promote industry best practices through sharing and education.
