As part of an ongoing partnership with Ecologi, Made in Group have recently planted a UK tree for each currently subscribed company within the membership: both those who have recently joined and those who have renewed.
All of these trees can be viewed online — alongside an image, location and tree species — with Made in Group committed to supporting local deforestation and encouraging manufacturers to step into the world of Net Zero.
In addition to this, Made in Group have also recently planted a further 5000 trees with Ecologi throughout the continent of Africa, as part of the company’s own ongoing commitment to sustainability.
With well over 5,000 trees and counting, Made in Group stands tall, fostering reforestation efforts and offsetting carbon emissions like never before.
In the last year, Made in Group also helped to fund a wind power project in South Africa, which has now provided healthcare for 9,000 local people through a mobile clinic. Similarly Made in Group helped to fund a solar power project in Vietnam, which is avoiding 70,411 tonnes of CO2e emissions each year.
