Made in Yorkshire has added another team member "on the ground" up in Yorkshire!
This move has come about as a result of Joe, earlier this year, putting himself forward to migrate up the M1 to Yorkshire on a full-time basis.
Made in Group wanted to ensure that there were as many resources as possible to offer hands-on support to Yorkshire-based companies within the membership. Likewise, Joe was extremely enthusiastic to get a better understanding of Yorkshire culture and the region's manufacturing industry, to help with working alongside MIY members.
Joe has been a Digital Experience Executive with Made in Group for almost a year, having started back in December 2019. Members from both Made in the Midlands and Made in Yorkshire will have worked with Joe, who is responsible for supporting members with their microsites and other marketing activities.
Whilst Joe's role will continue to revolve around supporting both regions of Made in Group with the digital side of their membership - alongside hosting virtual events such as the Made Masterclasses - his place of work has now shifted to Yorkshire from the Midlands.
Made in Yorkshire has seen a rapid period of expansion since its creation in 2017, with the membership group now holding over 150 paid members. Joe's move to the Yorkshire side of Made in Group is the latest example of the company's vision of growth for the membership in 2021 and beyond.
Made in Yorkshire's official base remains in Leeds, which is where Joe will be living and working for the foreseeable future. Ultimately, we hope that this move will provide our Yorkshire members with the added advantage of having another team member in closer proximity, who can provide support, alongside a greater understanding of the Yorkshire region.
