MIY Members: Here Is Why You Should Post An Article EVERY MonthBlogs
Made in Yorkshire continues to invest heavily in our online platform, which is why we are the first organic result on Google when you search for “yorkshire manufacturing”, and receive approximately 20,000 hits a month on our website.
So, if you haven’t posted an article to the platform in the last month, then we would like to ask you why that is? As with the potential to reach 50,000+ people on every article - as is explained below - the opportunity is yours to build brand awareness throughout the UK manufacturing industry.
You don't see the benefit
Posting regular articles (minimum once a month) with MIY is one of the most powerful ways to get your company name in front of Yorkshire-based manufacturing leaders - both brand new companies and strengthening brand awareness with ones who are already aware of you.
As well as going on your microsite and the Made in Yorkshire news board (20k visits a month), your article will also be shared out through our Made social media profiles (30k+ combined followers) and included in our Monday newsletter of article highlights (emailed out to 5k+ recipients). That’s over 50k people you could hit with one article!
And one more thing, those who post articles stand a great chance of being selected for an appearance on The Editor’s Pick - a brand new event format which interviews members about their recent news stories, building their brand awareness throughout the UK manufacturing industry. See an example of this here, with North Yorkshire-based Additive-X’s Jo Young and three fellow MIY members.
You don't have anything worth talking about
Of course, company success stories (new investments, employee case studies, collaborations, etc.) are the most obvious course of action for creating your news article. However not all articles need to be feature length press releases, you can also use the MIY news section to post blogs, share best practice, promote new services/products, and much more.
You still don't have the time
If you are struggling with time to create an article, then Joe or Yasmin from the Digital Team will happily write a free article for you. Simply arrange a call with us to discuss the content of the article or, for a more time efficient solution, why not send over an email with some bullet points / rough notes which we could use to create a news story? From here, we will put together an article to post from your microsite, before sending it back to yourself to sign off.
