Just over a month ago, the Made in Group relaunched its landmark Breakfast Mornings as virtual events allowing members to network and build lasting relationships in the name of challenging the erosion of British Industry.
Today, at 9 am on Wednesday 24th of June, Made in Yorkshire members Crompton Control hosted the 4th event, where over 20 members joined.
Crompton Controls is a 100% privately owned British Company that manufactures and supplies high-quality electrical equipment including standard motor starters, components and fully customised complex control solutions to a wide range of industries and market sectors.
Crompton Controls continues to innovate and respond to customer demand. This approach coupled with vast experience, an expert in house technical capability and professional sales and marketing strategy enables the business to stay ahead of its competitors, be inventive and focussed on customer service.
The virtual event began with an introduction from the Sales Director at Crompton Controls, David Chappell who gave an insight into how the company has grown over the past two decades, as well as some of the products that they make, and how they are implemented all around the world. Shortly after, and as is traditional with these events, each member introduced themselves in a virtual pitch.
The Made in Yorkshire team then placed attendees into two 15-minute breakout groups of 4 members each, allowing them to have more personalised conversations in smaller groups with discussions around working from home to the supply chain and how companies are implementing software among the topics discussed.
